Prof. Dr. med. Benedikt Ostendorf

Prof.Benedikt Ostendorf has a 15-year experience of working at the University Hospital of Düsseldorf, including 6 years at Hiller Rheumatology Research Center, one of Germany’s leading clinical research facilities dealing with systemic diseases.

Currently, as head of a private rheumatology clinic in Dusseldorf, he successfully employs the experience gained over those years to the benefit of his patients.

Prof.Ostendorf’s professional qualifications include internal medicine, rheumatology, physical therapy and laboratory medicine. He is a member of the German Rheumatology Society (DGRh), German Society for Sports Medicine and Disease Prevention, German Society for Internal Medicine.

Professor Ostendorf’s participation in high-ranking professional committees is a solid evidence of respect he enjoys among his colleagues. E.g. he is a former member of the  DGRh Committee on Imaging in Rheumatology and speaker of the DGRh Rheumatology & Sports Working Group, as well as a member of the Dusseldorf University Hospital Research Board.

Prof.Benedikt Ostendorf is the author of  a number of scientific publications and an editor/reviewer of various specialized professional journals, e.g. Arthritis and Rheumatism, Arthritis Care and Research, Arthritis Research and Therapy, Rheumatology, Zeitschrift für Rheumatologie, Aktuelle Rheumatologie etc.
