Prof. Dr. med. Ulrich Germing

Prof. Ulrich Germing is one of the leading German experts in the field of myelodysplastic syndromes. Since his student days, he has been active in the Myelodysplastic Syndromes Working Group. This professional association of German-speaking physicians and scientists aims to coordinate transnational efforts to study the pathophysiology of these disorders and to develop new methods of their diagnosis and therapy. Prof. Herming is also a member of the board of trustees and co-founder of the German non-profit association supporting patients with myelodysplastic syndrome.
