Profile

Professor Karges has been chief of the Department for Endocrinology and Diabetology since 2006. After studying in Marburg, he worked in Tubingen, Ulm and Toronto as an internal medicine physician. He was engaged as Clinical Assistant Medical Director for the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Ulm until 2006. In addition to the diagnosis and differential therapy of diabetes mellitus, his medical expertise includes clinical endocrinology and rare hormonal disorders.

The Department of Endocrinology and Diabetology offers its patients outpatient or inpatient diagnostics and therapy with experts from all specialized clinics.
