Our honored consultant team has been joined by an outstanding specialist in robotic surgery, prostate disease treatment and reconstructive urological surgery. Meet Prof. Jorn H. Witt, MD.
In Germany, as well as most probably worldwide, it is hard to find a surgeon with a better understanding of robot-assisted surgery than Prof. Witt. More than 10 000 personally performed procedures with robotic technology, almost 25,000 case reviews and numerous publications on the issue are a strong argument for those who would dare question his level of competence in this area.
But Jorn Witt's professional specialization is by no means limited to operations using the Da Vinci robot. Over several decades of practice, including senior positions in leading urological centers in Germany, the doctor has gained extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of the entire spectrum of genitourinary disorders in both adults and children.
Currently, Prof. Witt leads a department at a high-class private clinic in Düsseldorf, and at the same time he is a senior urology consultant at the Mannheim University Hospital which has the status of a reference center for tertiary urology care on a German-wide level.
We are glad that, despite his busy schedule, Prof. Witt has agreed to join our project. There is no doubt that his expert opinion will help many of our users to find the right solution to their problems.
