Ordering and consulting process
How is the Second Opinion ordered?
The ordering process in our service is divided into 2 stages. At the first stage you create a request for consultation, choose the form of payment, fill in the consultation questionnaire and upload preliminary medical data. At the second stage, the medical manager checks the availability and completeness of the provided data, and agrees on the possibility of providing the service of the Second Opinion in this particular case. After verification, MEDCONSonline confirms the medical consultation.
Can I cancel a paid consultation?
At any time after you place your order, but before MEDSCONSonline confirms the consultation, you can cancel your order without any losses. If you chose to pay by credit card when ordering, we will refund all blocked funds in full without any conversion losses.
Can my consultation be cancelled?
The primary goal of our service is to support patients in receiving internationally qualified medical care. To this end, we set high standards of quality in the delivery of services. In some cases, Second Opinion services are not feasible or effective because the quality of the medical information provided does not meet established standards. In this case, we are forced to cancel the order. In this case, patients do not incur any losses.
How will I know if the written consultation response is ready?
You can find out the status of your Second Opinion service, including whether the consultation is ready, in your personal office. In addition, we will notify you by email when the doctor's written report is downloaded.
How do I arrange a time for an online telephone or video consultation?
You have the opportunity to select the date for your telephone or video consultation when you place your order. A manager will contact you via email or messenger and offer you a choice of possible appointment times. Please keep in mind that, depending on your medical condition, a telephone or video consultation will take place before or after your written report. In addition, the schedules of our physicians, due to the fact that they are usually the heads of large medical institutions, may change short-term. In this case, the manager will coordinate not only the time, but also a new date for the consultation.
The desired doctor does not have a free appointment time in the near future, what to do?
If the doctor you have chosen does not have a free appointment time in the near future, please contact the support service with a description of the urgency of the situation. MEDCONSonline will do everything possible to arrange an online consultation as soon as possible.
I don't speak the doctor's language, what should I do?
With MEDCONSonline, you can overcome the language barrier between you and your doctor. We will translate your written medical information into the doctor's language and his Second Opinion report into the language of your choice. The quality of the translation is guaranteed by the high qualification of our translators and their many years of experience in medical translation. If a telephone or video consultation is chosen, our interpreter will ensure that you are able to communicate with the doctor freely.
